Now that the dust has finally settled, I have an opportunity to write to you to express much gratitude and appreciation for your invaluable assistance in securing our mortgage for us.  As it turns out, we just unpacked our last box, resolved all bureaucratic issues and are now (finally) settling nicely into our new home.   We have waited a long time for this moment – many of our friends are onto their 2^nd or even 3rd property, whereas this is the first house we have ever purchased (and I hope our last).

Our lack of experience, combined with the fact that we were dealing with an aggressive person (seller) who managed at every turn to exert undo pressure on us, helps explain why there were moments when I am sure we really tested your patience?!   You managed to keep us on an even keel, however, and your better judgment, professionalism and experience helped immensely to keep everything under control (including the lawyer that was representing us).  In addition, with rates moving up, the mortgage we ended up getting could not have been better.
